Dr Michael Bethune

Dr Bethune is a specialist O&G with the subspecialty certificate in Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasound (COGU). He is the founding consultant at Specialist Women’s Ultrasound, Box Hill, Melbourne.

He is a visiting imaging specialist at Mercy Hospital for Women, Melbourne. He is actively involved in ultrasound education and has spoken at several national and international meetings. He is a senior lecturer at the University of Melbourne. He sits on the RANZCOG Ultrasound Examination Committee.

Dr Bethune is the present Treasurer of the Australasian Association of Obstetric and Gynaecological Ultrasonologists (AAOGU). He is also a certified member of the International Ovarian Tumour Analysis (IOTA) group.
